The Movie Database API
Overview
Webflix is an attempt at replicating the Netflix UI using the TMDB API. Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. The app is designed to be a simple and easy to use platform for users to browse and search for movies and TV shows. The app was part of my monthly project builds and was built in March 2024. The app is hosted on Vercel and the source code is available on Github. Because of the nature of the TMDB API and the 1 month development timeline, the app is not a full copy of Netflix but rather a simple UI clone with some basic functionality.
